Till spent the first half of the second round warding Brunson off in the clinch but mounting little offense until the American again took him down. The third saw Till again start strong as he caught Brunson with clean shots that appeared to have him hurt. Brunson desperately shot in on another double leg tackle once more managing to get Till to the mat. As Till wildly tried to get Brunson off him the wrestler ended up landing atop him in full mount. When Till turned to his stomach, Brunson sunk in the choke for the quick submission win, his fifth in a row since losing to current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya back in 2018.
The undercard featured the conclusion of The Ultimate Fighter Season 29. Ricky Turcios earned a split decision in an action packed battle with Brady Hiestand to capture the bantamweight finals while Bryan Battle submitted Gilbert Urbina in the second round to win the middleweight finals.

Fighting for the first time in two years, Pacquiao started the match darting in and out, firing off combinations with his trademark fast hands. But Ugas, with his guard kept high, picked off many of the blows. As Pacquiao slowed a bit in the later rounds, Ugas landed a number of hard right hands that sealed the bout for him. A senator in his native Philippines, Pacquiao hinted this might be his final fight as he considers a run for president next year. If so, he leaves behind a remarkable legacy that saw him win the flyweight championship back in 1998 and make unprecedented jumps in weight all the way up as high as junior middleweight where he won a title. Overall, he captured major and minor championships in eight different weight divisions.
The two men started the fight evenly trading low kicks and firing off hard punches. Gastelum was pressing forward for much of the bout and seemed the busier fighter but Cannonier did more damage. He dropped Gastelum with a lighting right hook in round three. But Gastelum immediately bounced back up and began looking for a takedown which Cannonier easily repulsed. Gastelum attempted several more takedowns during the course of the bout but, except for a very brief moment getting Cannonier down in the final round, never found much success with his wrestling. Cannonier's sharper punches captured the judges attention as he earned the unanimous decision win with scores of 48-47 on all three cards.
