As originally reported by Point Fighter Live, professional point fighting promotion Pro Point has announced the matchups for their fifth card, which will take place Friday night at the 2021 Battle of Atlanta. There are four set matches taking place, including a main event featuring former Pro Point winners Kristhian Rivas of Team Legend and Ryan George of Team Dojo Elite - Power. These fighters have clashed before in the Pro Point halo at the very first event, when George took a narrow victory and moved on to the finals against eventual champion Bailey Murphy. Rivas and George are the most recent Pro Point winners, with Rivas winning the third event and George claiming victory in the fourth.

Pro Point, a new professional sport karate promotion, was back in action Friday night with their fourth event.

Pro Point 4 featured a 170-179 lbs. bracket with eight world class fighters vying to win the title and join the ranks of previous Pro Point champions Bailey Murphy, Jack Felton, and Kristhian Rivas. The event was streamed live for free across multiple platforms including OSS.TV, Century Martial Arts, Point Fighter Live, and yours truly, Black Belt Magazine. The show also included a special guest demonstration by Team Infinity's Connor Chasteen showing off his extreme kama routine, as well as a few sport karate legends in the crowd like Kalman Csoka and Regena Thompson. Pro Point was back in action Saturday night with their third promotion featuring an eight-man 170-179 lbs. tournament and a main event bout between Jason Bourelly and Ryan George.

After Bailey Murphy and Jack Felton claimed titles at Pro Point 1 and 2 respectively, it was time to determine a champion for the 170-179 lbs. weight class and decide who would get a chance to challenge Murphy for his Pro Point title. Murphy was originally slated to fight Felton in the main event of Pro Point 3, but a schedule conflict resulted in Felton, Black Belt Magazine's 2020 Competitor of the Year, being unavailable. Instead, Ryan George and Jason Bourelly would duke it out to earn the right to challenge Murphy's crown. Instead, point fighting fans will get to enjoy an exciting matchup between strong contenders Jason Bourelly of Team KTOC and Ryan George of Team Dojo Elite - Power.
