Another incident in a long line of legal problems, it's being reported former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor was taken into custody and questioned by police in Corsica, France over allegations of attempted sexual assault and indecent exposure.

A spokesperson for McGregor said no charges have been filed against him and denies any wrongdoing on the fighter's part.

ONE Championship was back in action on Friday, September 11, in Bangkok, Thailand with ONE: A NEW BREED II.

The six-bout card was full of exciting action and was capped off by a thrilling bantamweight Muay Thai bout between Pongsiri PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym and Sean "Clubber" Clancy. Pongsiri did enough to get the win, but Clancy's third-round performance will win him a legion of fans.

According to MMA Junkie, United Kingdom-based mixed martial arts promotion Cage Warriors has received government approval to hold a trio of events in Manchester on September 24, 25 and 26. The permission grants certain exemptions from Covid-19 self isolation requirements allowing participants to take part in approved sporting events.

The approval is notable in that it's the first time the British government has officially recognized the sport of MMA.

ONE Championship is back with its second installment of the "A New Breed" event series on Friday, September 11. The event will feature six bouts in total and be capped off by a battle of former World Champion Muay Thai athletes.
