Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao returns to the ring for a three-round exhibition bout at Super Rizin 3 against Rukiya Anpo on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. This match is part of the Super RIZIN 3 event, featuring a featherweight main event with Mikuru Asakura versus Ren Hiramoto.
Since retiring from professional boxing, Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao has stayed active in politics and various exhibition bouts. On July 28, he faces a kickboxing champion in RIZIN under special rules:

Japan’s Rukiya Anpo, known for his striking and highlight-reel knockouts, has a background in national karate and professional kickboxing, holding multiple K-1 World GP titles. However, in this bout against Pacquiao, kicking will not be allowed. In fact If the Japanese-born striker Anpo throws a kick at Pacquiao, he will find himself with quite a hefty fine of $5 million dollars.
Super RIZIN 3 will stream live on RIZIN pay-per-view (PPV) starting at 12 a.m. ET (5 a.m. UK time). The ring walks for Pacquiao vs. Anpo are scheduled for 5 a.m. ET (10 a.m. UK time).
