ONE 169: Atlanta got its first two matches revealed on Wednesday, and ONE Championship is bringing the gold to the Peach State.
ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion Anatoly Malykhin will put his title on the line against “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane in what is sure to shake the foundation of the State Farm Arena on Friday, November 8.
Malykhin, the ONE Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight MMA World Champion, has reigned over the organization with his superior wrestling and crushing KO power. However, “Reug Reug” is seeking a massive upset to set atop the MMA world.
Kane has proven his ability to upset the elite already in his career. In his last outing, “Reug Reug” stunned Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida by decision in an exhausting three-round battle. One more upset will bring him championship glory.
Also announced, Tawanchai PK Saenchai and “Smokin” Jo Nattawut will run it back one more time.
At ONE 167, Tawanchai edged Nattawut for the second time by decision. He was not pleased with his performance, and many believed Nattawut to have been the better man. The trilogy will finally settle the score and give both men another chance to compete in what has become a sensational series.
Nattawut also resides in Atlanta. The Thai athlete gets a home-field advantage after two attempts in Bangkok against Tawanchai.
