Islam Makhachev has been competing as a professional fighter since 2010 and has become a prominent figure in the UFC. He made his debut at UFC 187 on October 3, 2015, securing a win against Leo Kuntz via rear naked choke in the second round.


Since then, Makhachev has participated in 15 UFC fights and boasts a 12-fight winning streak, matching the longest in the division's history alongside Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
