Though they were able to successfully resume Grand Prix tournament competition in Hungary last month, the International Judo Federation has decided to cancel further efforts at staging World Judo Tour events for 2020.
The IJF had hoped to organize at least one more Grand Prix competition, in Zagreb, Croatia, for later this month. But with coronavirus pandemic conditions worsening world wide, focus will now shift to next year's competitions. The next planned event is slated for January 2021 in Qatar.
