Abdisalam "Omok" Uulu Kubanychbek, a prominent mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter from Kyrgyzstan, made significant strides in the sport as he claimed the BRAVE CF Lightweight championship at BRAVE CF 69. His victory over Russia's Kamil Magomedov marked him as the first-ever Kyrgyzstan BRAVE CF lineal world champion, a milestone that filled his compatriots with immense pride.

Beginning his athletic career in wrestling, Kubanychbek transitioned to MMA and quickly established himself on the global stage. Since his debut in 2015, he has compiled an impressive record of 20 wins, three losses, and one No Contest. In April 2019, he made history by becoming the inaugural world champion of the Super Lightweight division, which encompasses fighters up to 165 pounds. This milestone marked a significant achievement in Eldarov's career, which began in Dagestan with a strong background in wrestling and combat sambo. Before his full transition to MMA, he secured a silver medal at the world championship in combat sambo.
