Featured on the cover of Black Belt's December 2008 issue, Cung Le.

A Vietnamese-American mixed martial artist and kickboxer from San Jose, California, he made waves as the Strikeforce Middleweight Champion.

Known for his explosive striking and dynamic kicks, Le’s background in Sanshou (Chinese kickboxing) and traditional martial arts set him apart in MMA. His unorthodox style, featuring spinning back kicks, sidekicks, and powerful combinations, overwhelmed opponents, leading to victories over legends like Frank Shamrock and Rich Franklin.

Beyond the cage, Le transitioned into acting, starring in martial arts films while continuing to inspire fighters with his fusion of traditional techniques and modern combat skills.
