Bruce Lee is featured on the 1971 cover, it was his second cover focused on Jeet Kune Do. The cover was shot by Linda Ashley was the wife of a TV studio heads Sy Weintraub and Ted Ashley from Warner Brothers. She grew very close to Bruce Lee, photographing him on many occasions and even photographing Bruce Lee for the cover of Black Belt Magazine.
