Carlos Machado is a master and 8th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and currently runs BJJ schools across the United States, Australia, Canada and Mexico.

Machado is the oldest of the well-known Machado brothers (cousins to the Gracie family). He was instrumental in spreading BJJ in American - and, in fact, was one of the instructors to Chuck Norris, even teaching out of the studio where "Walker, Texas Ranger" was filmed.
