Ralek Gracie, son of Brazilian jujutsu legend Rorion Gracie, came in on short notice for a photo shoot and interview, providing a voice for the younger Gracie generation. During his shoot, he discussed his newest project: the upcoming debut of www.ralekgracie.tv. In these exclusive behind-the-scenes photos, Gracie, photographer Rick Hustead (in blue T-shirt) and Black Belt Executive Editor Robert W. Young collaborate to set up the photo protocols and story outline for the article to be featured in the March 2008 issue of the magazine!
Karo Parisyan took time out of a busy training schedule to stand still for Black Belt’s photographer, Rick Hustead. During the shoot, he demonstrated a number of grappling techniques, throws and finishing moves. In these exclusive behind-the-scenes photos, Parisyan and his partner Neil Melansen execute a variety of techniques for the upcoming March 2008 issue of Black Belt.
